Shreveport dentist arrested for Medicaid fraud

A Shreveport dentist has been arrested for Medicaid rascal by a Attorney General’s Medicade Fraud Control Unit.

Dr. David E. Reed, 55, of 1512 Gary Street in Shreveport, was requisitioned into a Natchitoches Parish Prison, charged with one transgression count of unapproved appearance in medical assistance programs. 

  The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted AG’s bureau with Reed’s arrest. If convicted, Reed could face adult to 5 years in prison, fines adult to $20,000 or both.  

    Reed allegedly sought and performed practice as a dentist in 2010 with a Medicaid provider in Natchitoches, notwithstanding his ongoing state
