September 7, 2011

This Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011 print shows Don, left, and Mary Roever with their cat, Mario, during their home in Green Bay, Wis. The Roevers adopted Mario from a preserve in Oct 2008 when he was 4 or 5 years old. Less than a year later, all of Mario's teeth had been pulled and a Roevers had dipped into their assets to compensate $10,000 for 3 surgeries. (AP Photo/Morry Gash)
