LOS ANGELES — Seven and a half years ago, a lady approached screenwriter Alex Kurtzman during a celebration and introduced herself. “She said, ‘Hi, I’m your sister,’” Kurtzman said. “I was in shock.” Kurtzman clearly saw his father’s facilities reflected in a woman’s face, though here he was during age 30 and he’d never met her.
